Looking for a patient English writing tutor, 2 hours a week, for 11 weeks.

My niece, Awino, is 12 and in Grade 11. Awino loves school but English writing has been a struggle since the school was closed during the pandemic. The school-leaving exam is in June.
We can't afford a private tutor, and the school's free sessions are full. We're looking for a volunteer who could spend an hour or two a week, in person in Nairobi or online, for about ten weeks.
Awino is polite, hardworking and eager. We have a quiet space and a laptop for online sessions. I'll always be at home for in-person sessions.
If you're a teacher, student or professional who feels comfortable in English writing, you could change the course of Awino's year.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Keep going, Grace. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Put this on a community board in Sandton this morning.

Rooting for you, Grace. Shared this with my family. Greetings from Zapopan.
Wishing you peace. Gave what I could, wish it was more. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. All the best
