An adapted tricycle for Sushma: help Sushma move freely
Help Sushma get an adapted tricycle so She can speak with the people around her.
🇳🇵 Butwal, Lumbini, Nepal666 views
Sushma lives with a spinal cord injury. The occupational therapist at the Butwal Rehabilitation Centre has assessed her and recommended an adapted tricycle. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $1,250.
Her current equipment is 15 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 8 weeks.
With the right equipment Sushma could speak with the people around her. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $1,250 goes:
• adapted tricycle: $1,150
• Fitting and training sessions: $30
• Delivery and set-up: $15
• First-year servicing plan: $55
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. After 7 years in retail I know how hard it's to ask for anything. God bless.
Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Sushma
Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. adapted tricycle comes first ($1,150) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. Appreciate you taking the time.
Take care. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. Thinking of Butwal.
rooting for you, Sunil. Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. Thinking of Butwal
