Bogra
Shapla lives with profound hearing loss. The occupational therapist at the Bogra Mobility Clinic has assessed her and recommended an adapted tricycle. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $700. Her current equipment is 15 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 6 weeks. With the right equipment Shapla could go to school independently. It would change everyday life for the whole family. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered. Where the $700 goes: • Delivery and set-up: $15 • adapted tricycle: $650 • Fitting and training sessions: $35 I hope life is good to you.

Updates from Jewel

  1. Wanted to say thank you properly. 36% funded and I made the first payment toward fitting and training sessions.

  2. Thank you all. We're at 32% now ($225). I'm honestly stunned. we've booked the dates and paid the deposit.

  3. 21% there. I made the first payment toward delivery and set-up. Thank you.
