An adapted tricycle for Ryan: help Ryan move freely
Ryan needs an adapted tricycle that the health system won't fund; the cost is $4,850.

Ryan lives with profound hearing loss. The occupational therapist at the San Francisco Rehabilitation Centre has assessed him and recommended an adapted tricycle. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $4,850.
His current equipment is 13 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 12 weeks.
With the right equipment Ryan could attend work interviews. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $4,850 goes:
• Fitting and training sessions: $280
• First-year servicing plan: $140
