An adapted tricycle for Joyce: help me move freely
An adapted tricycle would give Joyce independence - we're $750 away.
🇺🇸 United States1,029 views
I live with multiple sclerosis. My occupational therapist at the San Diego Rehabilitation Centre has assessed me and recommended an adapted tricycle. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $750.
My current equipment is 15 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 3 weeks.
With the right equipment I could get to the shops and visit friends. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $750 goes:
• Delivery and set-up: $100
• Fitting and training sessions: $290
• First-year servicing plan: $360
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.

Sending strength. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. I'm in engineering myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Love from Warri
