Ajay wants to stay at home - help fund three months of care
Ajay can't afford the care He needs after worsening Parkinson's disease; we're asking for $3,750.

I'm caring for my father, who's 93. After worsening Parkinson's disease Ajay can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Ajay desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 25 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
Ajay worked all of his life as a carpenter, and raised 3 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for three months will make a huge difference.
The carer will be employed through a registered agency and paid directly. I'll share the agency invoices.
Where the $3,750 goes:
• Part-time carer (three months): $2,400
• Medication and prescriptions: $580
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $310
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $460
Thanks for being kind about this.

hope it all works out, Rashmi. Shared this with my family. After 21 years in teaching I know how hard it's to ask for anything!
Sending strength, Rashmi. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier
