I make my living with my school-run minibus. 6 weeks ago the fuel pump failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $600. Without the vehicle I earn nothing. I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask. I support my family of five. Before the breakdown I worked ten hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working. I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here. I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update. Where the $600 goes: • Road tax and insurance renewal: $170 • Labor charges: $320 • Towing and inspection: $110 I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Ahmed.

The list at the bottom is the whole picture. road tax and insurance renewal is the biggest at $170. Thanks for asking.
