Adalynn's valve repair surgery can't wait - please help us cover the bill
After a hernia that has become strangulated, Adalynn was cleared for valve repair surgery, but the bill is more than we can manage.

Adalynn was diagnosed with a hernia that has become strangulated in August. The surgeon at Saint Mary Hospital recommended valve repair surgery, and She is scheduled for November. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $5,500, and after what the public health scheme will pay we're still $3,800 short.
my daughter has been in and out of Saint Mary Hospital since August. The doctors say a hernia that has become strangulated will get worse without valve repair surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $5,500 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Adalynn struggles with daily life and can't climb stairs. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
The recovery period is expected to take about 3 weeks. During that time Adalynn won't be able to climb stairs, so the costs keep growing.
I'll pay the hospital and pharmacy directly and post every receipt in the updates section.
