Maricel was diagnosed with a cleft palate needing repair in September. The surgeon at Quezon City Regional Medical Center recommended ACL reconstruction, and She is scheduled for January. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $2,000, and after what the public health scheme will pay we're still $1,400 short.
my daughter has been in and out of Quezon City Regional Medical Center since September. The doctors say a cleft palate needing repair will get worse without ACL reconstruction. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $2,000 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Maricel struggles with daily life and can't work a full shift. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Recovery is expected to take about 5 weeks. During that time Maricel won't be able to work a full shift, so the costs keep growing.

The list at the bottom is the whole picture. surgeon and anesthesia fees is the biggest at $650. Good question.
