After a benign brain tumor, Duha was cleared for a craniotomy, but the bill is more than we can manage.

Duha was diagnosed with a benign brain tumor in August. The surgeon at Heliopolis Orthopedic Institute recommended a craniotomy, and She is scheduled for October. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $1,000, and after what my insurance will pay we're still $700 short. my wife has been in and out of Heliopolis Orthopedic Institute since August. The doctors say a benign brain tumor will get worse without a craniotomy. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $1,000 is more than we can find. While we wait, Duha struggles with daily life and can't lift anything heavy. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there. The recovery period is expected to take about 12 weeks. During that time Duha won't be able to lift anything heavy, so the costs keep growing. I'll pay the hospital and pharmacy directly and post every receipt in the updates section. Where the $700 goes: • Hospital stay (5 nights): $390 • Pre-operative tests and imaging: $75 • Post-operative medication: $70 • Travel and lodging for the family: $65 • Physiotherapy sessions: $100 Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot. - Yusuf
