A youth football pitch for the Unity community hall: help our neighbors in Pune
A community-led a youth football pitch at the Unity community hall that will serve 600 neighbors.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a youth football pitch. This year a group of 10 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Unity community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $350.
It will serve about 600 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in December and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $350 goes:
• Materials: $210
• Permits and inspections: $25
• Safety equipment and signage: $35
• Tools hire and delivery: $80
