A youth football pitch for the Lotus community hall: help our neighbors in Manila

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a youth football pitch. This year a group of 20 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Lotus community hall, but no funding. We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $450. It will serve about 472 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
