A youth football pitch for the Harmony health centre yard: help our neighbors in Manila

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a youth football pitch. This year a group of 18 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Harmony health centre yard, but no funding. We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $200. It will serve about 527 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in March and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance. Where the $200 goes: • Safety equipment and signage: $70 • Permits and inspections: $40 • Tools hire and delivery: $90 Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.
