Blessing was diagnosed with osteoarthritis in the right knee in August. The surgeon at Onitsha Community Hospital recommended ACL reconstruction, and She is scheduled for November. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $670, and after what my insurance will pay we're still $400 short. my sister has been in and out of Onitsha Community Hospital since August. The doctors say osteoarthritis in the right knee will get worse without ACL reconstruction. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $670 is more than we can find.
