A youth football pitch for Maple Park: help our neighbors in Coventry
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a youth football pitch - we need $2,250 for materials.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a youth football pitch. This year a group of 21 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Maple Park, but no funding.
We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $2,250.
It will serve about 505 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in October and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $2,250 goes:
• Materials: $1,300
• Permits and inspections: $170
• Safety equipment and signage: $320
• Tools hire and delivery: $460
