A youth football pitch: a volunteer-led effort in Lagos

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a youth football pitch. This year a group of 29 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Liberty Park, but no funding. We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $150. It will serve about 395 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in April and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly.
