A simple way to help: donate warm clothing for kids at the Unity Family Centre.

I coordinate donations at the Unity Family Centre in San Jose. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes kids' 3 to 5 and women's S-L. If you're in San Jose, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Unity Family Centre on Sunday between 10am and 3pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Unity Family Centre clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
