A youth football pitch: a volunteer-led effort in Jeddah
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a youth football pitch - we need $550 for materials.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a youth football pitch. This year a group of 30 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Unity bus depot, but no funding.
We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $550.
It will serve about 380 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in June and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $550 goes:
• Tools hire and delivery: $220
• Permits and inspections: $60
• Safety equipment and signage: $270
