A youth football pitch: a volunteer-led effort in Howrah
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a youth football pitch - we need $700 for materials.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a youth football pitch. This year a group of 18 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Sycamore bus depot, but no funding.
We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $700.
It will serve about 264 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $700 goes:
• Materials: $540
• Permits and inspections: $70
• Safety equipment and signage: $30
• Tools hire and delivery: $60
