A working laptop for Elmarie's online degree in Sandton
Elmarie is studying law on a phone; a used laptop would let Elmarie do assignments properly.

I'm Elmarie, a law student in Sandton. My laptop broke 6 months ago and I've since been writing assignments and sitting online exams on my phone - it's slow, my work gets lost, and I'm falling behind.
I'm looking for a used laptop with at least 8GB of RAM and a working battery, or any laptop that can run a browser and word processor reliably. I can cover shipping if you can send it, or collect in Sandton.
I'll take great care of it and be sure to share how my studies go. If you want to upgrade your own and have an old one in a drawer, you could make a big difference.
Glad we found this place.

thinking of you. It takes guts to ask. Well done. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Greetings from Dar es Salaam.
Keep going, Elmarie. Your post was clear and honest. I'll check back for the next update.
As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. All the best.
