A working laptop for Cora's online degree in San Diego
Cora is studying social work on a phone; a used laptop would let Cora do assignments properly.

I'm Cora, a social work student in San Diego. My laptop broke 5 months ago and I've since been writing assignments and sitting online exams on my phone - it's slow, my work gets lost, and I'm falling behind.
I'm looking for a used laptop with at least 8GB of RAM and a working battery, or any laptop that can run a browser and word processor reliably. I can cover shipping if you can send it, or collect in San Diego.
I'll take great care of it and be sure to share how my studies go. If you want to upgrade your own and have an old one in a drawer, you could make a big difference.
Thank you for reading my story.

As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. I hope November is when things finally get easier!
Thanks for sharing this, Cora. Your post was clear and honest. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Thinking of San Diego.
good luck with the exams, you've got this. My neighbor in Phoenix donated after I showed her your page. God bless.
