A weekly visit for Waylon, 80, who lives alone in Fort Collins

I'm writing for my neighbor Waylon, who's 80. Waylon lives alone in Fort Collins, and lost a lifelong friend last year. The nearest family lives a long flight away. Waylon loves chess, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Wednesday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person. All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity.
