A weekly visit for Noémie, 79, who lives alone in Victoria

I'm writing for my neighbor Noémie, who's 79. Noémie lives alone in Victoria, and lost a sister last year. The nearest family lives on the other side of the country. Noémie loves chess, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Monday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person. All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity.
