I'm writing for my neighbor Mercedes, who's 80. Mercedes lives alone in Los Angeles, and lost a lifelong friend last year. The nearest family lives on the other side of the country. Mercedes loves old films, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Wednesday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person.
