A weekly visit for Kyung-mi, 76, who lives alone in Seoul
An hour a week, a chat, and a cup of tea - that's all Kyung-mi is asking for.

I'm writing for my neighbor Kyung-mi, who's 76. Kyung-mi lives alone in Seoul, and lost a lifelong friend last year. The nearest family lives a long flight away.
Kyung-mi loves knitting, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Wednesday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person.
All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity.
No special skills are needed - just kindness and patience.
Thank you so much.

sending love, Soo-jin. Wishing Kyung-mi a smooth procedure and a full recovery. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double
