A weekly visit for Josefin, 83, who lives alone in Stockholm

Josefin lives alone and has no family nearby; a weekly hour of conversation would transform the week.

I'm writing for my neighbor Josefin, who's 83. Josefin lives alone in Stockholm, and lost a spouse of many years last year. The nearest family lives a long flight away. Josefin loves local history, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Monday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person. All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity. No special skills are needed - just kindness and patience. Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.
