Volunteers wanted: Eli's yard after the storm
Fallen branches and overgrowth are blocking Eli's path; a few hours of help would make a big difference.

I'm 92 and I have lived in this house in Huntsville for 34 years. After the storm in May, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of poor eyesight.
The council has told me it will be twelve weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: two people with loppers and a wheelbarrow. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Stay strong. Hope the doctors have good news. I'm in public service myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Greetings from Odesa.
