A weekly visit for Akinyi, 74, who lives alone in Dar es Salaam

I'm writing for my neighbor Akinyi, who's 74. Akinyi lives alone in Dar es Salaam, and lost a lifelong friend last year. The nearest family lives on the other side of the country. Akinyi loves old films, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Saturday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person. All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity.
