I coordinate donations at Harmony Women's Shelter in Bacolod. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled. We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 2 to 14 years. If you're in Bacolod, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at Harmony Women's Shelter on Monday between 10am and 3pm. If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate. Items go to families directly and the rest to the Harmony Women's Shelter clothing bank, which is open to everyone. I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

  • Hope this works out for you. Put this on a community board in Zapopan this morning. Blessings.

    • hope this works out for you. I'm in logistics myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you.

      • praying for you. It takes guts to ask. Well done. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like.
