Ziggy is my senior cat of two years. On 5 September we rushed to Houston Animal Hospital with severe tick fever. The vet recommends orthopedic surgery, and the estimate came to $1,450. They have stabilized Ziggy, but the treatment can't wait beyond November. Ziggy is more than a pet - Ziggy is the reason I get out of bed. I have already put $230 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Houston Animal Hospital's charity fund for other animals. Where the $1,450 goes: • Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $170 • Emergency surgery: $1,100 • Medication and follow-up visits: $180 Ask me anything below before you decide.
