A weekly ride to the Ribeirão Preto Kidney Centre for Ricardo
Ricardo needs dialysis three times a week and has lost the ability to drive; volunteer drivers can each take one day.

Ricardo has been on dialysis for 3 years and until recently drove to the Ribeirão Preto Kidney Centre alone. After a foot amputation, Ricardo can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week.
We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 4 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 28 km each way.
Ricardo is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food.
