My pickup: Andrew's only way to earn a living
Andrew drives for a living in San Diego, and a broken radiator and cooling system has stopped all income for 7 weeks.

I make my living with my pickup. 7 weeks ago the radiator and cooling system failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,650. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my 2 children. Before the breakdown I worked ten hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $1,650 goes:
• radiator and cooling system replacement (parts): $940
• Labor charges: $280
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $280
• Towing and inspection: $150
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

So sorry you're going through this. Shared it with a few friends. Wish I lived closer to Paris so I could bring a meal. Take care.
