A weekly ride to Greensboro General Hospital for Julieta

A rota of drivers to Greensboro General Hospital would keep Julieta on treatment. Even one trip a week helps.

Julieta has been on dialysis for 2 years and until recently drove to Greensboro General Hospital alone. After a minor stroke, Julieta can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week. We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 4 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 32 km each way. Julieta is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food. Please say which day works for you in the comments. Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.
