A weekly ride to Dar es Salaam General Hospital for Brian
A rota of drivers to Dar es Salaam General Hospital would keep Brian on treatment. Even one trip a week helps.
🇹🇿 Dar es Salaam, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania1,597 views
Brian has been on dialysis for 3 years and until recently drove to Dar es Salaam General Hospital alone. After an eyesight problem, Brian can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week.
We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 4 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 15 km each way.
Brian is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food.
Please say which day works for you in the comments.
Thank you so much.
