A weekly ride to Buenos Aires Regional Medical Center for Sergio
Could you drive Sergio to Buenos Aires Regional Medical Center on Friday? A rota of 4 drivers is forming.
🇦🇷 Buenos Aires, Buenos Aires, Argentina1,802 views
Sergio has been on dialysis for 4 years and until recently drove to Buenos Aires Regional Medical Center alone. After an eyesight problem, Sergio can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week.
We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 4 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 27 km each way.
Sergio is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food.
Please say which day works for you in the comments.
Glad we found this place.

Sending good thoughts, Alberto. Hope the doctors have good news. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Take care.
So sorry you're going through this, Alberto. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Love from 6th of October City.

Sending good thoughts, Alberto. Wishing Sergio a smooth procedure and a full recovery. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too.
Hang in there, Alberto. I hope things turn around soon. We're a small family in Rohini but we're thinking of you. Blessings.
