Isla is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying an accounting degree at the Newcastle upon Tyne Institute of Technology, and is two terms away from graduating. She has worked as a delivery rider to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $3,750. The registrar has said Isla can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Isla has a 3.9 average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Isla would lose her place and scholarship eligibility. Isla isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the the Newcastle upon Tyne Institute of Technology bursar's office.
