After a serious car accident, I have been mostly housebound for 4 weeks. My family live far away, and the days can feel very long. I'm not looking for therapy - I've that covered - but for conversation. I'm hoping for someone who can call for about 30 minutes once a week whenever suits us both. I like podcasts, football and cooking, and can listen to anything. This can be from anywhere in the world as long as you speak English. We can arrange the calls through the platform, with email shared only when we're both comfortable. Thanks for even thinking about it. You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

  • So sorry you're going through this, Nida. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. My neighbor in Ribeirão Preto donated after I showed her your page. God bless.

    • hang in there. Hope you get there. I'll check back for the next update.

      • Hope it all works out, Nida. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. After 24 years in social work I know how hard it's to ask for anything

        • Thanks for sharing this, Nida. It takes guts to ask. Well done. I'll check back for the next update. Blessings!
