A stair-climbing aid for Praveen: help Praveen move freely
Praveen needs a stair-climbing aid that the health system won't fund; the cost is $450.

Praveen lives with profound hearing loss. The occupational therapist at the Dwarka Mobility Clinic has assessed him and recommended a stair-climbing aid. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $450.
His current equipment is 15 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 5 weeks.
With the right equipment Praveen could go outside without waiting for someone to push. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $450 goes:
• Delivery and set-up: $25
• Fitting and training sessions: $35
• stair-climbing aid: $390
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Hope it all works out, Nandini. I hope things turn around soon. We're a small family in Kaduna but we're thinking of you
Rooting for you. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. All the best.
Hope it all works out, Nandini. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. All the best
