I live with a spinal cord injury. My occupational therapist at the Mumbai Rehabilitation Centre has assessed me and recommended a stair-climbing aid. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $800. My current equipment is 11 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 12 weeks. With the right equipment I could go outside without waiting for someone to push. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing. Where the $800 goes: • stair-climbing aid: $750 • Fitting and training sessions: $30 • Delivery and set-up: $10 • First-year servicing plan: $10 I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to. - Arjun
