A skate park for Union Primary School: help our neighbors in Mwanza

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a skate park. This year a group of 9 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Union Primary School, but no funding. We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $500. It will serve about 112 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in October and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance. Where the $500 goes: • Permits and inspections: $45 • Materials: $390 • Safety equipment and signage: $65 With deep gratitude, Lilian
