A service dog for Umesh, a navy veteran in Mumbai
After fourteen years of service, Umesh is raising funds for a deposit on a one-bedroom apartment.

Priya served fourteen years in the navy and was discharged in 2024 with a traumatic brain injury. She has been waiting eleven months for support, and meanwhile is sleeping at a brother's place.
The plan: a deposit on a one-bedroom apartment. The quote comes to $350.
Priya is receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and is committed to recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
Money will be paid to the training provider and the landlord directly.
Where the $350 goes:
• Essential household items: $65
• Housing deposit and first month: $230
• Transport to appointments: $55
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

I hope things turn around soon. Wish I lived closer to Sheffield so I could bring a meal. Love from Siliguri
