After eight years of service, Shreya is raising funds for a trained service dog and handler course.
🇮🇳 India1,303 views
Sandesh served eight years in the infantry and was discharged in 2023 with post-traumatic stress. He has been waiting fourteen months for support, and meanwhile is sleeping at a brother's place.
The plan: a trained service dog and handler course. The quote comes to $650.
Sandesh is receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and is committed to recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
Money will be paid to the training provider and the landlord directly.
Where the $650 goes:
• Transport to appointments: $55
• Training provider fees: $560
• Essential household items: $35
Every share and every dollar helps.

gave what I could, wish it was more. I went through something like this 13 years ago and strangers helped me out. All the best
rooting for you, Shreya. Your post was clear and honest. I have a 5 year old who wants to send good wishes too. Greetings from Mumbai
