A service dog for Pranav, an infantry veteran in Mumbai
Pranav served six years in the infantry; $400 would cover a deposit on a one-bedroom apartment.

Alka served six years in the infantry and was discharged in 2024 with a traumatic brain injury. She has been waiting seven months for support, and meanwhile is sleeping at a brother's place.
The plan: a deposit on a one-bedroom apartment. The quote comes to $400.
Alka is receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and is committed to recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
I'll post invoices, with personal details hidden.
Where the $400 goes:
• Essential household items: $50
• Transport to appointments: $30
• Training provider fees: $320
Glad we found this place.

You're not alone, Pranav. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did.
Hang in there, Pranav. Gave what I could, wish it was more.
