A service dog for Kunal, an army veteran in Mumbai
Kunal served ten years in the army; $800 would cover a first month of rent and transport to job interviews.
🇮🇳 India941 views
Vandana served ten years in the army and was discharged in 2022 with post-traumatic stress. She has been waiting eleven months for support, and meanwhile is sleeping at a brother's place.
The plan: a first month of rent and transport to job interviews. The quote comes to $800.
Vandana is receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and is committed to recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
Money will be paid to the training provider and the landlord directly.
Where the $800 goes:
• Essential household items: $80
• Housing deposit and first month: $270
• Training provider fees: $450
Every share and every dollar helps.

Hope it all works out, Kunal. I hope things turn around soon. My husband and I read this together. Greetings from Bogor
