A service dog for Kannan, an engineering corps veteran in Aurangabad
After ten years of service, Kannan is raising funds for a vocational welding course and tools.

I served ten years in the engineering corps and was discharged in 2024 with a back injury. I have been waiting eleven months for support, and meanwhile I'm sleeping at my brother's place.
I have a plan: a vocational welding course and tools. The quote I have comes to $450.
I'm receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and am committed to my recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
I'd be grateful for any help and will share updates on how I'm doing.
Money will be paid to the training provider and the landlord directly.
Where the $450 goes:
• Essential household items: $55
• Transport to appointments: $70
• Housing deposit and first month: $325
Glad we found this place.

Keep going. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Greetings from Novosibirsk.
rooting for you, Kannan. Gave what I could, wish it was more. I have a 9 year old who wants to send good wishes too. Thinking of Aurangabad

Keep going, Kannan. Gave what I could, wish it was more. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Greetings from Makati
Stay strong, Kannan. This could happen to any of us. Put this on a community board in Contagem this morning.
Hope it all works out, Kannan. Hope this works out for you. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double
Good luck, Kannan. This could happen to any of us. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Love from Bangkok.
Take care, Kannan. Looking forward to the next update. Thinking of Aurangabad.

This could happen to any of us. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Love from Santa Rosa
Praying for you, Kannan. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. After 30 years in hospitality I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Greetings from Thiruvananthapuram.
