A service dog for Janani, an infantry veteran in Ahmedabad
An infantry veteran in Ahmedabad needs help with a vocational welding course and tools after leaving service with a service-related knee injury.

I served ten years in the infantry and was discharged in 2024 with a service-related knee injury. I have been waiting fourteen months for support, and meanwhile I'm sleeping at my brother's place.
I have a plan: a vocational welding course and tools. The quote I have comes to $700.
I'm receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and am committed to my recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
I'd be grateful for any help and will share updates on how I'm doing.
I'll post invoices, with personal details hidden.
Where the $700 goes:
• Essential household items: $100
• Training provider fees: $420
• Housing deposit and first month: $180
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
