Mythili served four years in the marines and was discharged in 2023 with a back injury. She has been waiting nine months for support, and meanwhile is sleeping at a brother's place.
The plan: a trained service dog and handler course. The quote comes to $650.
Mythili is receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and is committed to recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
I'll post invoices, with personal details hidden.
Where the $650 goes:
• Training provider fees: $280
• Housing deposit and first month: $200
• Transport to appointments: $100
• Essential household items: $70
Thank you so much.

Any update on how things are going in Tiruchirappalli?
Gave what I could, wish it was more. Wish I lived closer to Johannesburg so I could bring a meal.
