A service dog for Esperanza, an army veteran in Los Angeles
Esperanza served fourteen years in the army; $6,000 would cover a vocational welding course and tools.

I served fourteen years in the army and was discharged in 2022 with hearing damage and PTSD. I have been waiting fourteen months for support, and meanwhile I'm sleeping at my brother's place.
I have a plan: a vocational welding course and tools. The quote I have comes to $6,000.
I'm receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and am committed to my recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
I'd be grateful for any help and will share updates on how I'm doing.
I'll post invoices, with personal details hidden.
Where the $6,000 goes:
• Training provider fees: $3,150
• Housing deposit and first month: $1,900
• Transport to appointments: $350
• Essential household items: $600
Glad we found this place.

good luck, Esperanza. Hope you get there. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like
Stay strong, Esperanza. Looking forward to the next update.
it takes guts to ask. Well done. Greetings from Gujranwala.
Hope things get better soon, Esperanza. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Wish I lived closer to Pelotas so I could bring a meal.
Hang in there, Esperanza. Looking forward to the next update. After 17 years in construction I know how hard it's to ask for anything.
Hope things get better soon. Hope you get there. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Take care
