A service dog for Einat, a navy veteran in Tel Aviv
A navy veteran in Tel Aviv needs help with a deposit on a one-bedroom apartment after leaving service with a traumatic brain injury.

I served twelve years in the navy and was discharged in 2024 with a traumatic brain injury. I have been waiting eleven months for support, and meanwhile I'm sleeping at my brother's place.
I have a plan: a deposit on a one-bedroom apartment. The quote I have comes to $3,800.
I'm receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and am committed to my recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
I'd be grateful for any help and will share updates on how I'm doing.
Money will be paid to the training provider and the landlord directly.
Where the $3,800 goes:
• Housing deposit and first month: $1,600
• Training provider fees: $2,000
• Transport to appointments: $200
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.

Sending strength, Einat. Hope you get there.
Keep going. Your post was clear and honest. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Take care
So sorry you're going through this, Einat. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Thinking of Tel Aviv.
Hope this works out for you. I'll check back for the next update. Greetings from Bekasi.
