Rides to dialysis three times a week for Logan in Kelowna
Logan needs dialysis three times a week and has lost the ability to drive; volunteer drivers can each take one day.
🇨🇦 Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada224 views
Logan has been on dialysis for 3 years and until recently drove to the Kelowna Kidney Centre alone. After an eyesight problem, Logan can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week.
We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 4 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 8 km each way.
Logan is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food.
Please say which day works for you in the comments.
Thank you so much.

So sorry you're going through this, Ryan. This could happen to any of us. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money.
Rooting for you, Ryan. Shared it with a few friends. Love from Munich.
Sending strength. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. Wish I lived closer to Fresno so I could bring a meal. God bless
Praying for you. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. My cousin had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. God bless.
Wishing Logan a smooth procedure and a full recovery. My husband and I read this together. Love from Quezon City.
This could happen to any of us. I went through something like this 4 years ago and strangers helped me out. Love from Port Harcourt
